Amber is the owner and head trainer at A Very Gem K9. She earned her dog training knowledge certificate through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and follows LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) with a positive reinforcement approach. She is dedicated to helping owners better understand how their dogs think, feel, and communicate so stronger bonds can grow through confidence and trust.

Amber’s passion for animals began while growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. At 15, she adopted Remi, a rescue Rottweiler who needed extra guidance and compassion. Remi’s transformation inspired Amber to help more dogs succeed. Since 2021, she has fostered more than 80 dogs and even helped cofound Be My FurEvers Rescue.
