DOG TRAINING OPTIONS

Everything from quick questions on a phone call, to virtual training, to working together to improve the bond between you and your pup,  to me taking the reigns on board and training and showing you how to continue.  I follow LIMA - Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive - training techniques.  I praise, guide, and work at the dogs pace to instill trust and confidence in both owners and their dogs.  We always want to set our dogs up for success! Building trust and confidence with every interaction!

*Additional .50 cents per mile on all travel charges beyond a 30 mile radius  *Initial consultations are void after 12 months with no additional training in between

 Working Paw-In-Paw

You and I will work paw-in-paw to help you train your dog to its fullest potential!  I start by instilling the basics into your dog and then hand over the reigns for you to continue working with and building a bond with your dog.

Basic Obedience and Manners 

This consultation consists of filling out a basic form to answer questions about the dog and to get an understanding of the situation. Followed by a 1 hour in person meeting to work with you on teaching your dog.  I will start the training process then show you how to continue.

  • Initial consultation -  $100

  • Each additional 1 on 1 training session $60/hour

Behavioral

This consultation consists of filling out a basic form to answer questions about the dog and to get and understanding of the situation.  Followed by a 1 hour in person meeting to begin working to build confidence in both you and your dog.  Working through their unique situations and teaching you how to help your dog thrive in their everyday environment.

Board and Train

Do you want a well behaved dog, but just don't have the time to instill the basics?  Let me do it for you!  I offer a unique, force free board and train for basic obedience.  I will work with your dog 1 on 1 for 5 or 12 days to begin to instill the basics of your dogs specific problem areas, followed by a 45 min in person session to show you how to continue with your pup in your home environment.  If appropriate, your dog will get the opportunity to interact with well socialized dogs, kids, and a cat throughout the day.  For those who do better in a quieter environment, I have a separate space set up to make them more comfortable.

Basic Obedience -          Board and Train

Basic obedience board and train is wonderful for dogs who need the beginnings of basic manners instilled on:

  • Responding to their name

  • Potty Training

  • Crate Training

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Stay

  • $600/5 day in home training 

Rescue Rates 

  • $500/5day in home training

Advanced Board and Train

This is an excellent option for those dogs who need more confidence building, or owners who would like their dogs to have more advanced training.  In the additional 7 days, your dog will have a better understanding to their basic manners and the beginnings of more advanced skills such as:

  • Touch

  • Leave it

  • Drop it

  • The Start To A Reliable Recall

  • A longer Duration Stay

  • Other Things Catered To Your Dogs Specific Needs

  • $ 1500/12 day in home training

  • $1200/12 day in home training

Finding The Diamond In Every Ruff

I believe every training situation is unique and there is always a way to better our lives and our dogs lives.  These options are for those training solutions when our schedules don't line up, to help keep dogs comfortable in their own homes, or to help dogs learn how to act appropriately when out and about!

Polishing The Gem -      Daily Trainning

This option is great for helping your dog start to really shine!  Training takes time, consistency and patience to really be effective.  Polishing The Gem is a great to start learning a specific cue, keeping those cues fluent, more advanced, or continued generalization into everyday life.

VIRTUAL TRAINING

Virtual training is another great way for us to connect!  It will be done via zoom in the comfort of your own home, without the stress of a stranger to your dog coming into their territory.  Whether it is miles apart, just easier with our work schedules, or for the comfort of dogs who work better solely with their owners.  You will get the same hands on feeling as if I were right there with you!  Virtual training is great for:  

  • Fearful Dogs

  • Highly Reactive Dogs

  • Basic Obedience

  • Any Training Situations

  • $50/1 Hour Zoom Meeting

DOG EDUCATION & SUCCESS 

This course will show you the importance of positive reinforcement, mental enrichment, how dogs learn, how dogs talk to us, to instill polite greetings, potty training, loose leash walking, counter surfing tips, Kennel training, mouthing and preventing resource guarding.  Great for puppies or newly adopted dogs!

Age: 8 weeks and older                Commitment: 45 min per week for 4 weeks                                                Cost: TDB 

BASIC OBEDIENCE

In this course you will learn how to properly clicker train and work with your dog in everyday life.  You will learn to instill the basics of its name, sit, down, stay, how to relax, and the start to a recall. 

Age: 4 months and older              Commitment: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks                                                Cost: TDB 

 Next Paw Obedience 

Next paw obedience is designed for dogs who have passed basic obedience (or can prove they have the basic obedience down – email to discuss).  This course will add cue's such as touch, leave it, drop it, place and getting that recall down.

Age: 4 months and older              Commitment: 1 hour per week for 5 weeks                                                Cost: TDB 

Reactive or fearful Dog 

This course is designed for reactive or fearful dogs.  Dogs that bark, lunge, try to flee, or are uncomfortable.  This course will be surrounded by other people who understand the difficulties in owning a reactive dog.  You will learn what to do when you find a dog or human on a walk, cue "look", how to advocate for your dog in undesirable situations, slow and positive interactions and work on being in an environment comfortably and confidently.
